Alpha Index is an informational comparison site. We try to collect as little as possible. This page describes what we do and do not collect.

What we don’t collect

We do not run user accounts, we do not ask you to submit personal information to browse, and we do not sell data. We do not currently run third-party analytics or advertising trackers.

Cookies and local storage

We store a single functional flag on your device (a cookie named ai_age_ok and a matching local-storage key) to remember that you confirmed you are 18 or older, so we don’t ask again on every visit. It contains no personal data and is not used for tracking.

Server logs

Like most websites, our hosting provider may keep standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type and pages requested) for security and reliability. These are not used to build advertising profiles.

Outbound and affiliate links

When you follow a link to a vendor, you leave Alpha Index and that vendor’s own privacy policy applies. Some outbound links are affiliate links; a partner may report aggregate, non-identifying conversion data to us. See our affiliate disclosure.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under GDPR or the CCPA), you may have rights to access or delete data we hold about you. Because we hold almost none, this is usually quick — email us at drbalboa1991@gmail.com and we’ll respond.

Children

This site covers research-use-only compounds and is intended only for adults aged 18 or older. It is not directed at children.
